Dash Grab Handle

5500001	???????	Optional Grab Handle. Notice the 2 styles of handles (and the 2 locations). Although the lower photo shows a very early car (Chassis #5500318) with a 220S Grab Handle, it's not known at this time if this Handle was used as a "substitute" because the "correct" Handle wasn't yet ready, or if this particular Handle was Dealer installed. There has been one other 190SL observed with this exact same Handle, and it too was a very early car.
