Jim Villers and Robby Ackerman changing a clutch in the "Holiday Inn" garage.

The first night brings us to Susan's cousin's house in Indiana.
Somehow the cats always enjoy a nice soft convertible top.
After the drive to Wichita, Robby had radiator hose and ignition problems.
Robby removing his electronic ignition and installing his old distributor.
The "fix" lasted about 45 minutes.  Hard dead on the Interstate.
Susan never missed a stitch as Robby continues to search for the problem.
After over an hour of frustration, the tow truck came to pick us up.
We first tried several new parts at an auto parts store before having the car moved to the dealership.
Dave, the dealership mechanic did an heroic job of removing an replacing the starter.
Nenad Dakovic stayed late to rebuild the starter.  We arrived at six in the evening.
After leaving Colorado for our trip home, once again the "hook" came for Pea Soup.  Since there was no motel space in Learner, it was towed 20 miles to Great Bend KS
The Holiday Inn parking lot was a hot work space.  The transmission had to be pulled to get at the failed clutch. The center hub had broken from the clutch disk.
Jim cleaning up tools.  Note the towel over the windshield to keep the inside as cool as possible for working.
Robby call K&K for a replacement clutch and the loan of an alignment tool.
Jim cools off while Robby calls for parts. After some delay, we all arrived home safely with many more stories to tell..
